The Twelve Days of Christmas - Day Two

December 12, 2011
It’s day two of The Quilt Crossing Twelve Days of Christmas “STUFF MY STOCKING” event. Ready for some more fun?

Day 2 Special (December 12)
Lotsa Light
Lotsa Light
Oh, say can you see? The answer has to be “yes” if you’ve attached the Ecolux Lighting Kit to your sewing machine. Designed by a local woman, Kim Stewart, this light is taking the sewing world by storm (it’s been featured in both Quiltmaker and Quilts & More magazines). My Featherweight is sporting the 3-LED model - imagine how bright your full-size machine will be when you attach the 6-LED Kit. Whoa, baby! If you have more than one machine (and really, who doesn’t?), you can use the power adaptor from your first kit and just buy an additional LED strip for the second machine. And third, and fourth . . . Besides providing so much light, it is also color-correct, so your fabric will look so beautiful as you sew. Today’s special? Buy either the 3-LED light kit ($66.99) or the 6-LED light kit ($74.99), and get a coupon to redeem in January for one yard of fabric (up to $10.49/yard). Add a second strip-only ($32.99 for the 6-LED and $25.99 for the 3-LED), and we’ll increase your coupon to 1-1/2 yards.

The Twelve Days of Christmas - Day One

December 11, 2011

It’s day one of The Quilt Crossing Twelve Days of Christmas “STUFF MY STOCKING” event and time for some FUN! For twelve days, starting now, we’ll send you an email in the evening that reveals the Christmas Special of the day. You can pick up your items daily, or you can tell us to “Stuff It” (but in a nice way). If you choose that option, we’ll save it all for Santa to pick up sometime before 4pm on December 24.

You can participate by coming in to the store, emailing us at qltxing@q.com, or visiting our website  www.quiltcrossing.com.

Day 1 Special (December 11)

If it’s cute, it’s even cuter in polka dots.  And if it’s a set of polka dot sewing implements, it’s just the cutest!  This darling Sewer’s Essentials Travel Sewing Case includes polka dot (hereafter referred to as PD) scissors, PD seam ripper - they even make a mistake seem fun, PD tweezers, needles in a PD case, and some admittedly crappy thread that has no PD’s anywhere.  All the tools are encased in red velvet inside a darling PD padded case.  Then, besides lack of supplies, what is the biggest obstacle to on-the-road sewing?  Bad lighting, of course.  The solution?  Finger Lights!  Available in red or green, they attach to your finger with a velcro strap so the LED light shines brightly in just the right spot.

For the next twenty-four hours, when you purchase the Sewer’s Essentials Travel Sewing Case for just 12.99, you’ll get a Finger Light for FREE!!  We’ll try our best to honor your request for red or green.  Makes me want to take a trip!
